Nationally accredited trial attorney and highly esteemed, Gjesvold has developed coalitions, worked for non-partisan government commissions, sat on the Oregon Governor’s Advisory Board for sentencing guidelines and community policing, worked for the Northern District of New York U.S. Attorney’s Office and the also utilized her expertise with the Oregon Attorney General’s Office in the trial division. With an emphasis in criminal justice reform, Gjesvold is known for her out-of-the-box thinking. Giesvold developed comprehensive programs to end mass incarceration and school shootings, reduce violent crime in Oregon and California and rehabilitate juvenile offenders.
